NJ motocrossers were in action last weekend in Minnesota as the East Coast SX series got underway.
In 250 class action, Hewlitt, NJ native Luke Renzland was the top scoring New Jersey rider. The Trader’s Racing rider finished 3rd in his heat race and backed it up with a solid 8th place in the main event. Also competing in the 250 class was Marmora’s Jeremy Smith. Jeremy made his supercross debut with the 29th fastest time in afternoon qualifying making it into the night show. Unfortunately, he missed out making the main event but this was a great start for the young rider.
Representing New Jersey in 450 class racing is Microbilt/PRBC Racing’s Ronnie Stewart. Stewart made it into the night show but was caught up in a crash during the LCQ and he missed out on the main event.
The series continues this Saturday in Atlanta, GA.
