After weather forced the originally scheduled opening day to be canceled, Raceway Park opened for their 42nd season of motocross racing action on April 2nd. Sunny weather and cool temperatures greeted the large crowd of racers that came to compete.
All alone and out front. Coty Schock won all 4 of his motos for both the 250 and 450 Expert class wins.
Barry Carsten is back for another season of racing on his familiar Suzuki. Carsten won both the 30+ and 40+ Expert classes on Opening Day.
Michael Galligan was a double class winner at Raceway Park on Opening Day. The Kawasaki mounted rider won both the 30+ and 40+ Amateur classes.
Ricci Randanella won both the 250 Amateur and Schoolboy classes at Raceway Park on Opening Day.
Klark Robbins won both the 7-8 Stock 50cc & 7-9 65cc class on Opening Day.
Joseph Rainone won both the 65cc 10-11 & Junior Mini classes on opening day.
Tyrick Wheeler won both the 85cc 9-13 & Super Mini classes on Opening Day.
