After two seasons of professional racing with the Trader’s MX team, Hewitt, NJ’s Luke Renzland will not be returning in 2019. In an Instagram post, Renzland explained that the two could not come to terms on a 2019 agreement and they will part ways.

At this point in time, it is unclear who Renzland will race for in 2019.

His 2018 season was a successful one with six top 10 finishes and podium in the 250 SX East class series.

It’s been one hell of a ride over the last two years, but myself and @tradersmxracing will not be joining forces for the 2019 season. They did offer me a contract a couple days ago but we weren’t able to make things work with their new team structure for next year. What’s best for the team and what’s best for Luke are two different things and I had to make the call to pass on the offer. Thank you to the whole team for the past couple years full of good times, hard work, and success. I’ll always appreciate the amount of support given to me by all the staff and the owner, Gary Luckett. As for me, the future is unknown at the moment. I’m working hard trying to figure out what happens next! Whether this is “So long” or “See you soon” , I’ll keep charging forward and do what feels like the best option for me! Thanks for all the support my people. #teamdozer #eldozer
