The 2018 motocross season kicked off at Raceway Park on Sunday. The event was bittersweet as it was the final time the “old” track would be used in competition. The racetrack will move across the street where a “new” track will be constructed. The demolition was scheduled to start the morning of the 19th with the plan to open the new track the weekend of April 21st and 22nd.
Since it was the last time at the fabled track, I probably went a little overboard with the number of photos, so there are more than 1000 available to view and purchase.
As always the images are in alphabetical order by the riders “last name” with all holeshot pictures labeled as “start” and several “track” photos of the tower and signs, including a couple of the final checkered flag of the weekend.
