The USMCA (United States Motorcycle Coaching Association) has just announced its portal for people looking for a riding coach. Simply put your zip code in the search box and USMCA Certified Coaches in your area are listed.
The certification process is quite extensive and detailed ensuring you receive the best training and conduct from your coach.
From their website motorcyclecoaching.org –
The U.S. Motorcycle Coaching Association was created to grow the sport of motorcycling through quality coaching of new and returning riders. There will be four levels of USMCA coaches, starting with Foundations through Pro level certifications, with specialties for Dirt and Sport.
USMCA Certified Coaches have completed the core content, and agreed to uphold the USMCA values and Code of Conduct, passed national-level background check, are knowledgeable in basic AHA or Red Cross First Aid and CPR, as well as steps towards the management of concussions and how to detect signs for heat illness and cardiac arrest.
You would want and expect the best from a USMCA certified coach. This rigor and commitment of these coaches will create a network of the highest standards for coaching in the sport of motorcycling.
You’ll recognize some of the names on the list as NJ Motocross regulars. Guys like Rich Schmidt, Dan Callahan, Ronnie Stewart, and Jason Dragonetti are among the more than 125 nationally certified coaches.
