Check out this recent interview of “local” racers Justin Cooper and Brandon Hartranft over at RacerX. Both racers spent their amateur careers racing at Englishtown and other local tracks and this weekend’s race at Met Life will be the first time both are competing at their “home” stadium.
On a personal note, this is really a cool time for myself and NJ Motocross. I’ve been photographing both of these riders since they were on 50s and 65s and to see them on the biggest stage in the sport is really exciting.
Big congratulations to local racers Brandon Hartranft and Justin Cooper. Both riders were selected to be a part of a three-rider Yamaha amateur team under the Yamaha/Rock River/ Blu Cru Amateur Motocross Team umbrella. You can see the entire press release on our sister site Motocross Press. Good luck guys!
