Here is an interesting project NJ Motocross will be working on in the coming weeks. We’ll be putting a list together to vote on the top 20 NJ Motocross racers of all time.
Earlier this week, Brandon Williams messaged me on Facebook and asked what I thought of his Top 10 list of NJ’s best racers of all time. I’m not going to share it here, but I’d have to admit it’s pretty good. Using that conversation as a jumping-off point, I thought I’d go to the readers of this site and come up with a list.
What I think I would like to do is have a couple of different lists.
Top 5 in the 70s (1970-1979)
Top 5 in the 80s (1980-1989)
Top 5 in the 90s (1990-1999)
Top 5 in the 2000s (2000-2009)
Top 5 in the 2010s (2010-2019)
Top 20 all-time.
I’d also like to know who should be our 2019 NJ Motocross Racer of the Year.
So, for now, get your list together. I’ll be putting out a post for each decade asking for nominees and then we’ll put a vote together after a list is established. One decade at a time.
